Meet Dr. Menge
👓 Why I Became an Eye Doctor
As someone who is very nearsighted, I’ve always appreciated how much better vision can change someone’s life. What drew me to optometry was how rewarding it is to help someone see more clearly—sometimes instantly. While not every vision problem has a quick fix, it’s incredibly satisfying when I can make an immediate difference for my patients.
🚜 Montana Roots & Hard Work Ethic
I grew up on a farm and ranch in the Saco area, so I understand the sacrifices made on family farms, the value of hard work, and the importance of taking care of your community. That background shaped the way I approach patient care—with dedication, honesty, and a commitment to doing things right.
🎓 Education & Advanced Training
After earning a 4.0 in Cell Biology & Neuroscience at Montana State University, I attended Pacific University College of Optometry on a WICHE scholarship, graduating magna cum laude.
🔬 Specialized Training in Vision Therapy & Neuro-Optometry
I have pursued additional education and training in developmental optometry and vision therapy through the Optometric Extension Program (OEP), completing their Core Clinical Curriculum—a rigorous program requiring 135 clinical hours. I am also an OEP Clinical Associate, further expanding my expertise in helping patients with binocular vision disorders, visual processing challenges, and complex vision problems.
🏥 Bringing Big-City Eye Care to Rural Montana
I started Hi-Line Eye Care because I saw a real need for advanced, full-scope eye care in our remote region. Too many people were either going without care or driving hours for the latest treatments. That’s why we’ve invested in technology and training that brings big city care options to rural Montana; so you can get the best care possible, right here at home.
🌿 Beyond the Clinic
When I’m not helping patients, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and three kids, camping, boating, or looking forward to my once-a-year beach getaway in the winter.
We are also working on creating a tree shelterbelt that would make Montana’s homesteaders proud using native plant landscaping. I also enjoy getting creative in the kitchen, and if it involves microbes, I’m all in- from sourdough to kefir, kombucha, and lacto-fermented foods. My mom is still the sourdough master however.

Meet Our Team

Kayleigh – Certified Paraoptometric Technician
If you’re in Kayleigh’s hands, you’re in good hands. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about ocular disease and ocular surface management and will make sure you feel at ease during advanced diagnostic testing. You will see her in the exam room and if your lucky on glasses pick-up day.
She’s also the best chef in the office—if she weren’t here, she could probably have her own cooking show throwing down Bobby Flay.

Andrea – Optician & Optometric Technician in Training
Andrea has a sharp eye for style and helps our patients look and see their best. She’s a natural when it comes to listening to patients needs and explaining options that achieve the function and lifestyle patients are looking for. Andrea is a quick study and you will find her friendly face for dry eye treatments as well.
She’s also our voice of reason—when things get hectic, Andrea keeps us all grounded. When she’s not at work, she’s on the go being super Mom; keeping up with her kids' sports schedules, youth group, and running from one event to the next!

Lynsey – Patient Care Coordinator
As the newest member of our team, Lynsey is quickly learning all things eye-related. She has over a decade of customer service experience, making her a natural at helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of the office, you’ll likely find her at the hockey rink or volleyball court, cheering for her cheerleader, drinking a crème brulee iced coffee, and keeping busy with the sports her family loves!

Teresa – Patient Care Coordinator & Insurance Extraordinaire
If you have insurance questions, Teresa has the answers! She’s an expert in the inner workings of the insurance process and plays a key role in helping our veterans get the care they need by working with Veteran Affairs and authorizations.
She is incredibly detail-oriented, and has a heart of gold. When she’s not keeping our office running smoothly, you can find her tending her flowers, playing with grandkids, and now quilting—proving she has both an eye for precision and a creative side!
